Financial Information

In our effort to improve the health and quality of life of all Georgians, we are always searching for worthy health charities to support. To become a Community Health Charities of Georgia partner agency, every charity must meet the following criteria:

  • A nonprofit health agency with measurable local community benefit, whose primary focus is to provide support for individuals and their caregivers touched by a disability or chronic disease in one or more of the following areas:
    • Disease management
    • Patient care and treatment
    • Research for a cure
    • Patient and professional education
    • Patient and caregiver services
    • Services and programs that support mental and emotional health
    • Wellness and prevention services and programs
  • Maintains a local, regional or statewide presence, so services are directly available to and/or benefit Georgia-based donors
  • Offers services that do not significantly duplicate those already offered by other CHCG partner agencies
  • Operates as a legal entity in good standing in the State of Georgia
  • Qualifies as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code
  • Maintains a current charitable registration with the State of Georgia
  • Has a history of filing at least 3 years of IRS Form 990
  • Provides a copy of the most recent annual audited financial statements, prepared in conformance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), if revenues exceed $250,000. Otherwise, the most recent annual financial statement, review or compilation must be provided.
